On may 24th, 2010 the Commencement 2010 of NYIT was celebrated on its Long Island Campus. On the invitation of NYIT President Edward Guiliano, Professor Min Chunfa, the Party secretary of NUPT, accompanied by other three members, went to US to attend the ceremony.
Students from NYIT campuses in Manhattan, Nanjing, Jordan, Bahrain, Vancouver, etc., students parents and approximately 12,000 guests from various fields attended the ceremony. On the Spring Commencement 2010 18 undergraduates from the NJUPT-NYIT joint training projects were conferred degrees.
After the Commencement, Secretary Min talked with the students of NUPT. When told that some of them will go on with the Master s Degree in NYIT, Secretary Min encouraged them to work diligently so as to grace their Alma Mater.
