On December 8, at the invitation of Beijing Teachers Training Center for Higher Education, two Finnish delegations of University of Helsinki and Sibetiuksen Akatemia respectively led by their vice presidents visited our university.
The two parties discussed ways of student communication and teacher communication between the two universities, and respectively signed memorandums for the negotiation.
University of Helsinki was founded in 1640, the first state university in Finland. Now it is listed first in comprehensive ranking, and the 60th among the world famous universities. Sibetiuksen Akatemia is the only music college in Finland, one of the largest in Europe.
