On the morning of Oct 22, Shep Hill, president of Boeing International, John Tracy, the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) together with senior managers including Boeing International president of China, paid a visit to SCUT. President LI Yuanyuan welcomed the guests on South Campus.
President Li expressed warm welcome to the Boeing delegation. He said that SCUT was willing to provide talents and technology for Boeing International's career in China, especially in South China. To promote mutual cooperation, he also introduced the disciplines and research power of the university in airplane manufacturing.
President Shep Hill showed his gratitude to the welcome received and introduced the development of Boeing International in China. He said that SCUT enjoyed great strength in talents and technology, and that the significance of the visit was to promote cooperation.
After the meeting, President LI Yuanyuan showed the Boeing delegation around the south campus, visiting the training center of software talents and the library. Relevant personnel from the two parties established talks on talents cultivation, scientific research, international exchanges, etc.
