SCUT celebrates its 5th anniversary of MPA

On the morning of Nov.12, the 5^th anniversary of the Master of Public Administration program (MPA) and the founding ceremony of the Council of MPA Alumni Association was held at SHAW Humanities Building.

ZHANG Zhengang, Vice president, addressed that following the growth of the economy, the MPA program in SCUT has constituted a relatively perfect system of academic disciplines. It has been developing rapidly and made remarkable achievements in the past 5 years. He also expressed his hope that the foundation of this association would provide a better platform for the exchanges of Alumni and the integration of resources, thus forming an intimate relationship between alumni and achieve common development.

OU Hongze, one of the MPA alumni expressed his gratitude to SCUT in his speech. He said he would carry on the SCUT spirit and strengthen the ties with SCUT. CAI Ruofu, a post graduate student of MPA said he would do his best to unite the alumni to serve SCUT and the society.

And then, the superintendent of School of Public Administration announced the founding of the Council of MPA Alumni Association and the membership of the first session of the council.
