SCUT Xiamen Alumni Association celebrates its fifth anniversary, its council reappointed

On Feb. 28, hundreds of alumni from Xiamen City and other parts of Fujian Province gathered together, celebrating the fifth anniversary of Xiamen Alumni Association.

LUO Guoqing, president of Xiamen Alumni Association and Xiamen Pinge Cultural Planning Co., Ltd, gave the work report of the first council, introducing the operations of the Alumni Association. At the meeting, the council was reappointed; the second council was established and LUO Guoqing elected as president. Alumni from other parts such as Fuzhou, Quanzhou, Zhangzhou and Longyan also expressed their intention to contact the local alumni to establish alumni associations so as to better serve the alumni.

At the meeting, LV Tingxiu, vice president, paid membership fee as an "honorary alumnus". Alumni from Quanzhou presented SCUT with "Yongchun paper woven painting of Yiting Town" as a souvenir.
