SCUT holds closing ceremony of the 2nd Postgraduate Festival of Science & Technology

On the afternoon of June.3, the closing ceremony of the 2nd Postgraduate Festival of Science & Technology as well as the rewarding ceremony of Academic Star was held in 2F Conference Hall, Shaw Building of Science.
The ten winners of Academic Star were issued certificates. Later, two of them gave a speech, presenting their experience and methods in doing researches.
After the rewarding ceremony, a lecture Scientific Research from International Perspective, Cultivation of Academic Innovation and Intercultural Communication Competence was presented by Prof. CHEN Jianping, vice-president of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
It is reported that the three-month Postgraduate Festival of Science & Technology is a brand activity of SCUT. The academic activities are launched in various forms, including lectures, seminars, and salons, aiming at providing an exchange platform to postgraduates, widening their research horizon and creating academic atmosphere.
