Exibition of Design Works of Zhejiang University Students

"Can you read me a poem?"

"In the quiet night,

So bright a gleam on the foot of my bed!

Could there have been a frost already?"

"Grandpa, this toy can understand my words!"

On the morning of July 2, on the second floor gallery of Zhejiang Science and Technology Museum, a senior and his granddaughter were having a dialogue with a doll. In the exhibition named "Designs Change Life", most of the works on display were products of graduates of Department of Industrial Design, Zhejiang University.

This is the first time that Department of Industrial Design has exhibited students works to the community. Works on display include interactive music players, intelligent home appliances, interactive toys, smart electronic products, animation and so on. Among them, height measuring device which can measure kids height anywhere, message board "LUNA" with light, and "automatic pet feeder" attracted most attention.

The exhibition lasted for three days. Director of Zhejiang Science and Technology Museum Chen Simin remarked, "People are aware of the importance of industrial design, but don t know much about this new discipline. We re obliged to help university student publicize their creative ideas and products."
