International students of Hohai University took part in the Cross-Cultural Fun in Nanjing-Nanjing International Cultural Exchange Day held in Baima Park on Oct. 16, 2010. It s sponsored by Nanjing Office of Foreign Affairs, Nanjing Bureau of Foreign Trade, Nanjing Bureau of Education and Map magazine. Most of universities in JiangsuProvince joined in.
Algerian students from our university did a perfect presentation for their own country. They made many posters, introducing Algeria from the aspects of history, geography, custom, economy, scenery, industry, food and so on. Their special costumes and food drew lots of attention and many natives and foreign friends took photos with them.
In addition, two girls form Burundi, performed folk dance Amatasha and won a lot of fans.
