On March 25, President Prof. WANG Cheng met with Director Mei-Chi Chen Piletz, Office of China Initiatives, Jackson State University (JSU), USA.International Office also gave a warm welcome to her.
Located in Jackson, the capital city of Mississippi, JSU is a world-famous comprehensive university with over 120-year-old history.
In the meeting, President Prof. WANG Cheng hopes to enhance the cooperation in the exchanges of staff and students in civil engineering between the two universities. Led by Ms. Mei-Chi Chen, 8 JSU students came to Hohai to start the three-month immersion Chinese learning programme.
