Chinese-German Joint Youth Seminar on Harbor and Waterway Engineering & TU Darmstadt Student Excursion was held in HohaiUniversity from Oct. 5-14.Some academic exchanges were done among German professors, technicians, doctors and masters and Hohai staff and students in the fields of coastal dynamics, port and waterway engineering and coastal protection.
The activity was organized by Hohai Univesity and TU Darmstadt, was supported by BMBF and DAAD, and was also listed in the Memorandum of Sino-German Culture Exchange Year.
This seminar and excursion got a complete success, which strengthened the contact and exchange in the education field of Sino-GermanPort and Waterway Engineering; reinforced the German students understanding of China s great advantage in port and waterway engineering, and also deepened the friendship of each other.
