Zhejiang University Student Xu Shengxiang Starred in Movie "Sui Sui Qing Ming"

Written by famous screenwriter Cheng Xiaoling, directed by Xiao Feng, movie Sui Sui Qing Ming wrapped in May in Hangzhou. Xu Shengxiang, a student of College of Medicine, Zhejiang University, stars in the movie as the male protagonist and becomes the first full-time student at Zhejiang University to star in a movie.

The movie tells the story of resistance and sacrifice of a young tea merchant in times of Japanese invasion. It s a movie about the creativity and deep thinking of Hangzhou local people. The language in the movie is Hangzhou dialect. The director and screenwriter commented on the performance of Xu Shengxiang as showing high professional standards and artistic talent.

The movie will be released around the Qing Ming Festival next year and will participate in the event of Chinese University Student Film Festival. The director and screenwriter are considering to choose Zhejiang University as the place for movie premiere.
