On May 21, Zhejiang University is going to celebrate its 113th anniversary. A series of celebrating activities will be held. The University will welcome alumni and the public to enjoy the Evening of Anniversary on May 21 and "Open Day" on May 22.
The Evening of Anniversary will be a celebration party with "Ode to Long March of Scholars" as its theme. With readings, poetry recitation, songs, dances and drama scenes, it will reproduce the westward course of Zhejiang University people in Anti-Japanese War. Also the party will present the outstanding contributions of President Chu Kochen and his profound impact on the University.
Open Day is the traditional constituent of Zhejiang University Anniversary Celebration. Hundreds of enthusiastic members of public will visit Zhejiang University campus on this day with the guide of student volunteers. This year, the History Museum on Zijingang Campus, library, biological labs will be open for visitors. In addition, visitors can also enjoy exhibition of innovative works of undergraduate, exhibition of scientific and technological achievements and so on.
