Professor Shi Xu Finishes a 3-Month Academic Tour to Europe

Professor Shi Xu, Director of Discourse and Multitcultural Institute, the School of International Studies, has finished his 3-month academic tour in Europe and returned to Zhejiang University on May 5.

Professor Shi was invited by universities in Europe to give lectures on China s human rights discourse, foreign trade discourse and discourse studies in China. He gave lectures in University of Geneva, Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Humboldt University of Berlin, University of Milan and so on. In his lectures, Prof. Shi introduced the research work and personnel training at Zhejiang University to promote the international cooperation of Zhejiang University and universities in Europe. He also introduced Journal of Multicultural Discourses on behalf of the editorial board.
