Zhejiang University Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with University of Wisconsin-Madison

On the morning of Mar. 31, Chancellor Carolyn Biddy Martin of University of Wisconsin-Madison visited Zhejiang University with a delegation of faculty and staff. On behalf of ZJU, President Yang Wei signed a memorandum of cooperation with Chancellor Martin.

Established in 1848 and located in the city of Madison, University of Wisconsin-Madison has long been recognized as one of American s great universities, with an excellent reputation in education, geography, history, business and sociology. Since 2008, Zhejiang University has been cooperating with University of Wisconsin-Madison in managing summer programs for postgraduates. Faculty and students from UW-Madison are scheduled to give courses at Zhejiang University and visit local enterprises in Zhejiang Province.
