Professor Thierry Cazenave was invited to be Y K Pao Distinguished Visiting Professor at Zhejiang University in 2004. Prof. Thierry Cazenave is the senior research fellow of Universit Pierre et Marie Curie and the French National Scientific Research Center. His research mainly involves (dispersive or non-dispersive) hyperbolic and parabolic problems. His publications appear in world renowned journals such as Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., J. Funct. Anal., Comm. Math. Phys., J. Math. Pures Appl. and so on.
