The President from Malaya University Visited Zhejiang University

On January 5, 2010, President Wei Yang met a delegation led by President Ghauth Jasmon from University of Malaya, Malaysia. Both sides introduced their own universities and reached an agreement on academic cooperation covering scholar visiting, scientific research and student exchange programs.

MalayaUniversity is a comprehensive university specializing in liberal art, science and medicine. It is one of the biggest and best known universities, and also the oldest university in Malaysia. At present, there are 14 schools, 4 research centers, 4 research institutes, and 2 recreation and sports centers with a total of 30,000 students at the university.
