On the morning of January 11, 2010, the ceremony of China's State Scientific and Technological Award was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. At the event, 2009 China's State Top Scientific and Technological Awards were announced. A total of 9 projects from Zhejiang University were conferred National Science and Technology Awards.
