Iran:'Garments' presents a spectacular brocade collection

Certain parts of Sadabad Palace, after Iranian Revolution were turned into museum, it now gives a preview to visitors of rich Iranian culture and heritage.
Currently, Azadeh Yasaman Nabizadeh, a designer as well as an artist is holding an exhibition of tapestries and traditional clothing, in cultural complex of Palace, which will continue till March 17.
The expo is titled ‘Garments’, showcasing a spectacular collection of Iranian brocade weaving, extravagant embroidery on silk and Jajim, a two-sided rug.
This five day visual feast, is offering a rare chance to art lovers, to travel different time zones within few moments as on display are garments from ancient to modern era. The expo aims to refresh the memory of onlookers regarding ancient Iranian garments.
