USA:Polgat Textiles to move production facility from Israel to China

Fashion fabric company Polgat Textiles will be moving its operating facility from Kiryat Gat, Israel to China, it was announced by Bagir Ltd, a leading vertical manufacturer of men's and women's tailored clothing.
States Steven Kimmel, President Bagir U.S.A, "This will be a joint venture that will result in production of outstanding fashion fabrics to suit the ever demanding mandate for sophisticated European styling at affordable prices.
Bagir's aggressive move to produce quality fashion fabrics at competitive prices is reactive to tailored clothing industries' requirements."
Polgat Textiles, the manufacturer of outstanding worsted fabrics for men's and women's tailored clothing will now produce its line of fashion fabrics at a major mill in China.
All machinery and technical support and expertise will be moved to the new facility with creative and technical support stationed at both locations.
"There will be no disruption of fabric manufacturing and distribution during the relocation. Bagir Ltd will remain a vertical manufacturer of women's and men's tailored clothing," states Kimmel.
"Rising energy and wool prices as well as competition from the Far East have made this move a necessity." Polgat is a division of Bagir Ltd.
