Enough volumes of Chinese pears for export

China export their pears mainly to EU countries such as Holland, Germany, France. Besides the EU exports also reach the Middle East and Eastern Europe. The main exporting varieties are Golden pear and Ya pear.

Sanlong, a company based in the Shandong Province, informed that there is enough volume for the export, although China has a big consumption in the domestic market. "Domestic market price is a little bit higher compared with exporting market", explains Tony Sun, General Manager of Sanlong. "This year the prices of nearly all kinds of fruit in the domestic market is going up"

In China many kinds of pears are grown, such as: Golden pear, Ya pear, Housui pear, Crystal pear, Su pear etc. Sanlong is also looking for other varieties like fragrant pears and red pears. "Our main packages are 5kg, 7kg, 10kg, 18kg cartons, but we can also pack to customers needs."
