The government of Ukraine will lengthen the quota period of grain exports

The Ministry of Agriculture in Ukraine said that the government planned to lengthen the quota of grain exports to the end of this year. That is June 30th. The purpose of this act is to guarantee the domestic grain and the flour price stable.
Ukraine implemented the quota of grain exports last year. The export quota of wheat, barley and corn is 4,200,000 tons. The deadline is originally scheduled at the end of March. The output of Ukraine grain is 39,200,000 tons in 2010.
The vice-minister of Ministry of Agriculture in Ukraine said that export of milling wheat in Ukraine can reach 1,000,000 tons before June 30th. The ending stocks of Ukraine grain is estimated nearly 5,500,000 tons in 2010/11(July to next year in June), including 3,500,000 tons of wheat.
The government of Ukraine estimated that the demand of domestic grain is approximately 26,000,000 tons.
