MOA Invites National Model Workers and Outstanding Staff for Workshop

April 26-before the convening of the awarding ceremony of 2010 national model workers and outstanding staff, the Ministry of Agriculture invited 73 model workers and outstanding staff from the agricultural system throughout the country for a workshop to celebrate the festival of all the workers.

Han Changfu, Minister of Agriculture, hoped that the model workers could work even harder to address the issues of agriculture, rural areas and farmers, overcome difficulties, strive for best performance, and promote the reform and development of rural areas through their contribution at their own positions. The Minister also wished the participants to be innovative and proactive to seize opportunities in the development of economy and society.

Vice Minister Wei Chao an introduced the current development of agriculture and rural economy, as well as the working plan of the Ministry to the participants for advices and suggestions.

The participants are visiting the China Agricultural Museum.
