The first China Investor Relations Annual Meeting is being held in Beijing presently. The theme of this annual meeting is focused on investors' relationships with listed companies. Baosteel won three prizes----including the prize for the best investor relations for the year 2004 among stock companies and the best leadership prize. Baosteel garnered more prizes than any of the other listed companies taking part in the selection and these prizes are of the highest value. Its sound investor communications, excellent achievement and creditable market image have gained favorable notice in domestic capital markets.
Baosteel's continuing advancement in investor relations' management in particular has won approval from the capital markets. Apart from the three prizes won at this meeting, Baosteel has also won second prize for the fastest improvement of IR awarded by "Asia Money", CCTV2003 the most valuable listed company in China, the top hundred listed companies in 2003 in China, etc.
In addition, Baosteel was chosen as one of the ten best listed companies in China in an investor selection activity both this year and last year. It has become the most satisfactory listed company in the view of a large number of investors.
