Ten excellent figures of 2009 Annual City Images are accepting their awards

The award ceremony of Jinan 2009 Annual City Images hosted by Jinan Times was held in the Shungeng Hillview Hotel. Ten excellent figures including Xin An, etc were selected as the ten annual city images in 2009 through public recommendation, public votes and expert appraisal.

At the end of December, 2009, Jinan Times newspaper launched a selection contest for selecting ten excellent figures to be Jinan 2009 Annual City Images, which attracted extensive attention and active participation from all circles of life. In a short time of one month from December 28, 2009 to January 31, 2010, the editorial department has received tens of thousands of letters from citizens and organizations.

The candidates recommended by citizens and organizations came from various circles including education, health care, public security, city construction, economy, and culture and sports, etc.. Through public votes and expert appraisal, the city images including Xin An, Zhang Bin, Chen ZHonghua, Ling Peixue, Tian Yongbao, , Guo Li, Fang Ze an, Zhang Lei,Zhang Miao, and Lv Mingtian were selected.
