The 2010 Dalian Golden Pebble Beach Bicycle Round-Coast Sightseeing Race is sponsored by the Winter Swimming Base of China Swimming Association, the Dalian Yongguan Bicycle Club and t others, and undertaken by the Dalian Golden Pebble Beach Development Management Bureau, the Dalian Golden Pebble Beach Tourism Group, the Dalian Winter Swimming Association and the others. It will be held at the Binhai Road, Golden Pebble Beach State Tourism Resort on June 13.
In order to attract more bicycle lovers, the Dalian Golden Pebble Beach Bicycle Round-Coast Sightseeing Race sets up eight group competitions, including the road group, the comprehensive group, the endurance competition and others. The race is fit for competitors of all ages and levels. To the present, nearly 600 persons have applied to participate. They are amateurs from over 20 domestic and overseas cities, including Italy, Belgium, Iceland, France, America and others. Among the competitors, the eldest is 83 years old and the youngest is 15 years old. This competition will continue the theme activity of happily enjoying a low-carbon lifestyle and creating a better tourism environment, raised by the Golden Pebble Beach at the beginning of the year. It will provide an excellent competition platform for bicycle lovers.
