On Sep. 27 NPU Chairman of Board of Trustees Chen Xiaozhu met with Xie Genhua, Party secretary of Shenyang Aircraft Industry Corporation, Yuan Li, chief engineer and technical center director and Xu Xiaoming, deputy general manager.
During their meeting Chen Xiaozhu extended her warm welcome to Xie Genhua and his party and used the publicity videos to brief on NPU in terms of its history, teaching and research, industrial cooperation and so on. Zhang Xiaochuan, a deputy division chief, presented NPU's science and technology work Yuan Li presented the research and production status quo in Shenyang Aircraft Industry Corporation. Both sides exchanged their views on student education and scientific research cooperation and expressed their intentions for further cooperation.
After their meeting Xie Genhua and his party visited the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education for Modern Design and Integrated Manufacturing Technology, the Key Laboratory of Defense Technology for Thermo-structural Composite Materials, the State Key Laboratory of Solidification Processing Technology and the National Key Laboratory of Science and Technology on Aerodynamic design and Research.
