Efficient Clearance Services Provided for Canton Fair (with photo)

The 104^th China Import and Export Commodity Trade Fair was held from 15 October to 6 November 2008 in three phases in Pazhou International Exhibition Center in Guangzhou. Guangzhou Customs District adopted a new pattern to accelerate the clearance process for all the imported exhibits.
With the increase in number of the import exhibitors (exhibitors who mainly engage in displaying import commodities), Guangzhou Customs changed its clearance pattern for imported exhibits from being transferred collectively to one prescribed port for clearance to being released at any of the ports located in Guangzhou Customs region. This new pattern helped exhibitors reduce the cost ensued from getting through the transferring procedures, raising the whole clearance efficiency. What's more, Guangzhou Customs District also designated officers to provide postal and clearance service in the exhibition hall, helping exhibitors mail their samples to foreign countries in time.
