On June 26, 2009, Guangzhou Customs District opened a display area to the public to promote the anti-drug education in an activity held by the local narcotics control bureaus to mark the 2009 International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. As one of the co-organizers, Guangzhou Customs District showed to the public 9 kinds of drugs that were detected often by Customs officers and more than 20 types of tools which were used to conceal the drugs. Sniffers dogs performance and anti-drug brochures could be seen and obtained at the scene.
