With the end of the summer vacation and the start of the new semester, the ports located in Shenzhen Customs District see rapid growth in outward passenger traffic which mostly consists of overseas students and day students.
Officers of Luohu Customs House said that the number of day students who travel between Shenzhen and Hong Kong SAR is continuously increasing with economic, cultural and personnel exchanges constantly deepening between the two sides. According to the statistics, the average number of day students who travel through Luohu port is about 6,000 per day this year. Luohu Customs House opened a dedicated channel to ensure a safe and speedy clearance for the students.
