Ningbo Airport Customs House Opens with photo

Ningbo Airport Customs House (previous known as Airport Customs Office of Ningbo Customs District) opened on November 26. Ningbo Airport Customs House, the 6th affiliated customs house of Ningbo Customs District will be responsible for airport-related customs operations.

With the internationalization of Ningbo city and the development of foreign trade, Ningbo Lishe Airport sees increasing flow of passengers and goods every year. Regular flights to Taiwan, and Hongkong SAR and Charter flights to Japan, Singapore, Thailand and other countries and regions are available at the airport. Various exhibitions and festivals held each year in the city also added to the busyness of the airport. In 2008, the Airport Customs Office of Ningbo Customs District exerted control over 2,932 arriving and departing airplanes, 331,688 entries and exits of passengers, 8,430 tons of imported and exported goods valued at USD 672 million, levied tax of RMB 402 million and handled 35,897 declarations.
