----- Mengniu is invited to join in the large-scale public welfare activity Super Stars Show You Around the World Exposition
On Dec.21st, the large scale public welfare activity Super Stars Show You Around the World Exposition was held by Shanghai World Expo Business Coordinated Bureau, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Ministry of Culture in Shanghai. Mengniu, who had been positively exerting efforts on public welfare was invited as one of the partners of theactivity. It s reported that, at the time, there would be 100 super stars including Yao Ming, Jacky Chen, Lang Lang, Pu Cunxin, Jiang Wenli and other partners who would carry out various promotions and popularizaion activities in over 100 primary schools in different cities and remote areas.
It was said that the activity Super Stars Show You Around the World Exposition included 7 series in total, such as Green Trip---Spreading Love in China, Red Trip--- Love Care of China, and Blue Trip---Narration of China and etc. This activity was the largest one so far. As the partner of Green Trip---Spreading Love in China, the largest dairy enterprise in China, Mengniu, with the super stars, would send milk to children in disaster and poverty stricken areas and pick some as representatives to participate the activity in Shanghai.
During the World Exposition, 100 super stars will show children around the world expo park, and carry out interactions of public welfare communication in the park.
What s different from the previous charitable activities was that, this time, Mengniu brought children not only the healthy milk, but also a window of the world. According to the World Exposition Classes, super stars would go into the rural areas to introduce the splendness of the World Exposition in the country primary schools. Meanwhile, there would be 10,000 children from disaster and poverty-attack areas led by super stars to Shanghai to visit the World Exposition and participate in various activities, which could let more children share achievements of the World Exposition. Through appreciation of the World Exposition, the children would expect a green future and be full of hope.
When interviewed, the vice-president of Mengniu, Zhao Yuanhua said, It s quite meaningful for the growth of children from the disaster and poverty-attack areas to feel love cares from the society, appreciate the World Exposition and know the world by following super stars. This was the display of harmonious idea of World Exposition and main reason why Mengniu accepted the invitation and supported the activity. What s more, it was the responsibility for all circles of the society
