On February 12, 2010, CGGC began to erect the precast beams for the floor of the Bamako No.3 Bridge, marking the start of the bridge floor construction.
To celebrate the first anniversary of cornerstone-laying by Chinese President Hu Jintao and Mali President Amadou Toumani Tour on February 13, 2009, the project technical team held simple but solemn ceremony. Ahmed Dian SEMEGA, the Mali Minister of Equipment and Transportation, addressed the occasion the high-quality and fast construction of the bridge demonstrates marvelous Chinese Speed .
