Iran Mashhad LRV project signing ceremony was held in Beijing on February 15, 2007. The contract was signed between Iran Mashhad Mass Transit Company and the combo of CNR Changchun Railway Vehicle Co., Ltd. and CITIC. The total contract value is EUR9,300 for 60 70% low floor LRV.
The LRV will be used for Line one of Mashhad LRT which has been finished. The length of the line is 19 km. The LRV with three articular modules adopt Europe standard of design and test. The main technical character are as following:
