On June 12, 2008, eleven type DF7G-C diesel-electric locomotives were shipment in Tianjin seaport. This is the first batch of 40 locomotives. The manufacturer is CNR Beijing February 7th Locomotive Works Co., Ltd. The rest will be delivered before the end of August, including five type DF7K-C Bo-Bo shunting locomotives.
CNR had delivered 12 type DF7G-C diesel-electric locomotives to Cuba. Under the hot and humidity ocean whether and not good running condition, the locomotives are running well. They are warmly welcomed by Cuba people.
