According to the source from CSR on September 27, CSR Nanjing Puzhen Rolling Stock Co., Ltd.CSR Puzhen won the purchase bid for Hangzhou Subway Line 1 vehicles.
As China s largest urban subway rail vehicle manufacturer, CSR maintained a share of over 60% in the domestic market in 2007 and 2008 in a row, with its products successfully applied in China s key cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Nanjing. The successful bid marked that CSR was recognized again in the new urban rail subway market.
Hangzhou Subway Line vehicles involved in the bid are 6-in-one vehicles in Type-B aluminum alloy structure with a diameter of 2.8m, a single-carriage capacity of 348 passengers, a single-trailer capacity of 321 passengers and a single-train capacity of 2,036 passengers.
