Recently, T91 high-pressure boiler tube, achieving the high score of 94, has been included on the list of 2005' Shanghai High Technology Commercialization Projects and becomes the only steel project which wins the honor.
T91 high-pressure boiler tube is a kind of supercritical high alloy steel featuring the property of heat-resistant, pressure resistance, oxidation resistance and erosion resistance. It is mainly used in boiler and electric power industry. At present, China needs to import 30 thousand tons of high-pressure boiler tube every year. Now, the product is put into batch production in Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.
