An official delegation of Shenzhen Municipal Government conducted an inspection visit to the jobsite of Shenzhen Universiade Sports Center on March 11, 2011. The project, which was located in Longgang District of Shenzhen. The delegation members included Standing Vice Mayor Lv Ruifeng and the other leaders of the governmental institutions. During the visit, the officials gave full recognition on the words contracted by Shanghai Baoye Construction Group (SBC-MCC) on an EPC basis, including the main Gymnasium and outdoor landscape construction.
The outdoor engineering works of Shenzhen Universiade Sports Center covers a designed area of 423,000 square meters, with a scope covering: Landscape engineering, garden architecture, electrical engineering, water-supply and drainage facilities, landscaping bridge, outdoor road, parking lot and outdoor installation works. This center will meet the functional requirements of not only various international sport games and specific championship contests, but also large-scale art show, gathering and small-scale exhibition.
