Jinan, November 20 -- Signing ceremony of agreement on transferring Shanghai World Expo Shandong Pavilion to Jinan was officially held in Shandong Hotel. Thus, Shandong Pavilion was officially transferred to Jinan Municipal People's Government and would be rebuilt in Jinan Garden Show Park and kept and displayed in long term.
It's reported that citizens can enjoy the presence of World Expo Shandong Pavilion at the end of 2011.
At 10:30 of October 31, Shanghai World Expo Shandong Pavilion was officially closed. Since November 1, the relocation of Shandong Pavilion was officially began and successfully finished at 9 o'clock of November 18 with the last batch of exhibits arriving at Jinan.
The Confucius statue and no-tail TV of Haier Group are left in the memorial hall of Shanghai World Expo. "The former one represents traditional Shandong culture and the latter represents future family life of Shandong. They will become the permanent memory of Shandong Pavilion and Shandong." explained by relevant people in charge of Shandong Pavilion.
It learned from the transferring ceremony that during Shanghai World Expo, the visiting tourists reaching 6,693,800 in Shandong Pavilion, the most among these local pavilions. In the list of "World Expo Ranking" conducted by Tencent, the only designated website by Shanghai World Expo Shandong Pavilion ranks the first among the top 10 local pavilions.
