At China Apparel Island construction and promotion meeting held on the afternoon yesterday, Secretary of Wuxi Standing Committee Zhu Minyang pointed out that, in order to make use of industry resource to create cultural and innovative base, we should create China Apparel Island to be global apparel shows, communication and information platform. Zhu Minyang led members of the relevant departments first came to the construction site of China Apparel Island , and inspected the construction progress of this project. Zhu Minyang pointed put that, the start of China Apparel Island should use creating cultural and innovative base through industry resource as the beginning, according to the aim of creating Jiangyin Apparel Island, China Apparel Island and Global Apparel Island , to make it not only show the development history of Jiangyin Textile Industry, but also effectively realize the product design, research and sales service of current textile industry, then to attract the focus of the global apparels. In the next construction progress, we should care about the principal of situ conversion, through the use of color element, to create a nostalgic atmosphere. China Apparels Island is feature for apparel, which sets up the show platform for Jiangyin Apparels, communication platform for internal apparel design and information platform for global apparel design. At the same time, let the normal people come here and enjoy the travel, shopping and other entertainment. In addition, Zhu Minyang pointed out that, at the time of building China Apparels Island , we should invite the runners to take part in the construction.

China Apparels Island project started in December last year, is situ construction based on the former Cotton Mill, through the uniform planning and designing, to create the historical change of China Textile Industry, show the environment and spare feature of Jiangyin Industry construction, and compromise Jiangnan local cultural feature.
