CHUNG SHAN COMMERCIAL Association HONG KONG celebrated the 100th anniversary

Last night, celebration activities for the 100th anniversary of 1911 Revolution and the 100th anniversary of Chung Shan Commercial Association Hongkong were held in the conference hall of Hongkong Convention and Exhibition Center. More than 1500 guests got together to review the history of how oversea Chinese poured their efforts to support the 1911 Revolution and carry forward Dr. Sun Yatsen s spirit of philanthropy.

Chung Shan Commercial Association Hongkong is one of the oldest and greatest associations of oversea Zhongshaness. During the war time, many oversea Zhongshaness participated actively in the revolution advocated by Dr. Sun Yat-sen and in the reform period, Chung Shan Commercial Association Hongkong donated 10 million yuan for the construction of their hometown, spreading their love and fraternity all across Zhongshan. Mayor Chen Maohui gave a high credit to overseas Chinese s generosity and contribution to Zhongshan.

The photo exhibition of Overseas Zhongshaness and 1911 Revolution was also held.
