Comrade Li Feng Nominated as Secretary of Shantou Municipal Committee

On the morning of May 24, Shantou Municipal Committee held the meeting of all major leading cadres of the city at the Conference Center of Municipal Party Committee, and announced the decision made by the Standing Committee of Guangdong Provincial Committee regarding the adjustment of major leaders of Shantou Municipal Committee. Mr. Hu Zejun, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Committee and director of Department of Organization, attended the meeting and made an important speech on behalf of the Provincial Committee. The meeting was chaired by Comrade Huang Zhiguang. Vice director of Department of Organization of the Provincial Committee, Lin Cunde read out the Provincial Committee's notice on the adjustment of some major leaders of Shantou Municipal Committee. According to the Provincial Committee's decision, Comrade Li Feng was nominated a member of Shantou Municipal Committee, member of the Standing Committee of Shantou Municipal Committee and secretary of Shantou Municipal Committee, and Comrade Huang Zhiguang was relieved of his post as Secretary of Shantou Municipal Committee, member of Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee and member of the Municipal Committee; the Provincial Committee decided that Comrade Li Feng was nominated a candidate of head of Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Shantou City, and Comrade Huang Zhiguang would no longer work as head of Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Shantou City, and all the relevant matters would be settled according to law.
