A largest modern cinema with the most advanced equipment and the most comfortable environment in Eastern Guangdong will be settled in Shantou. The construction of this cinema has been already commenced recently. It is expected to be completed and put into use within 4 months.
This cinema is located on the 6th floor of Nanguo Mall in the middle section of Changping Road. The investment for the first phase plans to be about RMB 35 million yuan. The investment is borne by Guangdong Yifan Film & TV Culture Co., Ltd. The Guangdong Provincial Movie Corporation will provide supports on film sources, technology, training and management. It is set up 10 theaters of large, medium and small types in total, with a total accommodation of about 1200 people.
