According to the official, Dongguan will continue focusing on cracking down robbery, theft, pornography, gambling and other crimes in the city. Dongguan will increase its full-time patrol police officer to 2,000 this year. Added with the security staff employed by the police, Dongguan is expected to have a 12,000-people patrol force.
