Vice-president Chen Xiaolong gave a lecture in Cadre Institute of Pudong

In the lecture entitled Create Conservation Campus, Achieve Sustainable Development , Prof. Chen started from Global Climate Change and Energy Status , presented insights about the hot spot issues of current climate around the world, analyzed energy challenges facing China on the basis of China energy status, discussed the measures to deal with energy crisis, achieve sustainable development , looked into the future of energy saving technology and new energy developing status.

He also described various projects of creating conservation campus by Tongji from the two aspects of low-carbon technology and low-carbon culture, illustrated various types of low-carbon practices and exploratory achievements made by our university since 2003 to the participants in the seminar.
