On July 2nd, President Pei Gang was invited to the 234-year celebration of USA held in USA pavilion at Shanghai Expo. President Pei met with Ms Beatrice Camp, US Consul General, introducing Dean of School of Law, Prof. Shan Xiaoguang and Dean of School of Politics and International Relations, Prof. Xia Liping to US Consul General. It is expected that the two schools could integrate their complementary strength, co-develop the international cooperation, talent recruitment and research projects. Other invited guests to the reception are Ms Madeleine Albright, former US Secretary of State, Mr. Shen Xiaoming, deputy Mayor of Shanghai, etc.
