CUC Holds Sino-French Academic Exchange Activities

On November 5, European Media Research Center together with the School of Journalism and TV co-sponsored two Sino-French academic exchange activities, in which two French experts introduced the latest cutting-edge trends of the Western media industry and academia from a whole new perspective.
The first exchange was held in the afternoon which was designed for small-scale professional training of young teachers and postgraduates in our school. Olivier Landa, French National Television Group Vocational Trainer, lectured on the theme of the European Mobile TV Status Quo and Development. As a TV producer and technical expert he comprehensively presented the reasons and drive for the development of mobile TV, mobile TV viewing mode, mobile TV content, as well as the competition among telecommunications, television and Internet, he finally gave his own evaluations.
Mrs. Brigitte Le Grignou on TV Media s Influence on the Politics
At 6:00 pm, Mrs. Brigitte Le Grignou, professor of Political Science of Paris, gave a lecture on the Television and Politics - from the Research on Effects to the Research on Application, which was presided over by Professor Liu Chang, the dean of the European Media Research Center .
Professor Brigitte has long been engaged in teaching and research in political communication. She explained from a sociological perspective the media s influence, especially television media on politics. Her talk centered on three key terms: audience classification, use and diversified interpretation.
