On March 1st, 2011, the signing ceremony of EMBA project cooperation between CUC and Uppsala University was held at the West Campus. Wu Yanxiong, President Assistant as well as Dean of School of Distance and Continuing Education of CUC and Director of academic affairs of Economic Department, Uppsala University, respectively on behalf of the two sides signed the cooperation agreement.
According to the cooperation agreement, CUC and Uppsala University would make use of their own advantages, jointly create an EMBA project in media field with the best domestic faculty, and create the most high-end domestic media elite club to provide a comprehensive and systematic high-end training base for the senior management personnel of domestic media. The establishment of the project filled a blank in media education.
Uppsala University in Sweden was established in 1477 with more than five hundred years of history. Since last century, Uppsala University has trained eight Nobel laureates and won high reputations in the world.
