On June 21, China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited was granted Commonweal Honor Award at the Annual Awarding Ceremony of Community Chest of Hong Kong. Mr. Xie Changjun, Assistant General Manager of China Guodian Corporation and General Manager of China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited, was invited and present at the ceremony to accept the award.
At the ceremony, the award was given by Mrs. Tsang Pau Siu-Mei, president of Community Chest of Hong Kong, which is non-profitable and non-governmental charity in Hong Kong and committed to fund raising and donations for social welfare institutions. The charity holds a number of fund-raising projects every year. When Longyuan Power was listed as H stock in Hong Kong, it took active part in Stock Code Balloting for Charity Scheme by donating HK$1 million to the charity.
