The Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station, built across the Yenisei River in Republic of Khakassia of Russia, is the largest hydropower station in Russia and the sixth largest hydropower station in the world. A major accident occurred at the station on August 17, 2009.
Immediately after the accident took place, Eastern Bridge, Sany's distributor in Russia, delivered two mobile pumps (37 m and 45 m respectively) to SUOS, a large construction company in Russia, who is commissioned to rebuild the power station. To assist SUOS in completing the project, payments were allowed to be made by installment. Eastern Bridge also extended the expired warranty of SUOS's three mobile pumps previously purchased from Eastern Bridge to the end of 2009.
To provide its customers with satisfactory services, Eastern Bridge transferred wearing parts and storage batteries from its component warehouse in Krasnoyarsk and delivered them to SUOS. In addition, Sany Russia Subsidiary (Asia) and Eastern Bridge have regularly sent professional service engineers to inspect the equipment.
By now, SUOS has already purchased the five pieces of Sany equipment.
