At the beginning of the New Year, trucks lined up everyday for as long as 500 meters in front of the gate of Sany Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd, waiting for delivery. From January 1 to January 3, more than 100 units of equipment have been dispatched from Sany Heavy Equipment, including advanced mining equipment such as the roadheader, the mining truck and the scraper conveyer etc..
In as short as 6 years, Sany Heavy Equipment has developed itself into the first domestic supplier of suites of mining equipment. It has made great progress in the following three fields: coalmining machines, integrated roadheaders and mining trucks. In 2009, Sany Heavy Equipment s roadheaders held the biggest share in the domestic market as in the previous year, and had ranked No.1 in three consecutive years. On Nov 25, 2009, the company was successfully listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Joint Stock of Exchange with the stock code 00631, making itself the first coalmining equipment manufacturer in China that to go public at the international capital market.
